We opened the first District Eatz in June 2020 – just three blocks from the Capital One Arena in the heart of Washington, DC. Our mission is to provide the neighboring metropolitan community with a one-stop-shop for delicious, customizable, and trendy cuisine.
Despite opening our doors in the midst of the pandemic, this family-owned eatery grew rapidly due to its community-focused atmosphere and delicious menu. We offer a wide variety of savory, sweet items ranging from acai bowls to Belgian waffles, empanadas, and much more.
After nine months of escalating success at our D.C. location, we (Kamal, Anthony, and Joseph) partnered with the Kuzemka family to open a second restaurant location in our shared hometown community of Clifton, Virginia. District Eatz Clifton officially opened for business in March 2021 with a theme dedicated to the spirit of its neighboring Centreville High School.
As we plan to open more District Eatz locations in the coming months, it’s important to us that each eatery is community-driven. Our original menu continues to be at the core of each restaurant, but each location will feature menu items, products, and themes specific to its location. We believe this model is the first step towards building a local, inclusive, neighborhood-centered brand. Hence our slogan… “Your Neighborhood eatery!”
